Newsflash - What's Happening In Forest Engineering?

BPW – Reduced weight of the Airtight II air suspension
The focus on reduced tare mass of timber trucks continues. New optimised trailing arms and a centrally bolted airbag have resulted in a 15 kg weight saving on a 3-axle suspension (5 kg per module). Source: www.bpw.de

John Deere – D Series Knuckleboom loaders

Improvements to the loader include a new, more fuel efficient John Deere engine, new hydraulic pumps (Pressure Compensated Load Sensing – PCLS) with a dedicated swing pump, heavy duty swing bearing and pinion, new hydraulic manifold, display monitor now including engine diagnostic information and auto idle to conserve fuel when levers aren’t operated for a while.
