New Products - Peterson 4310 Track Mounted Drum Chipper

The 4310 is a high volume drum chipper suited to biomass producers who have a wide variety of feed materials?

The 4310 is a high production track mounted drum chipper which provides for mobility at the work site. It can accept feed material as small as branches up to logs of 22 inches (66 cm). It has a sloped feed deck for easy feeding. Standard babbit type chip knives are used. Chip length can be varied from ½ to 1 inch (13 to 25.4 mm) by adjusting the knife extension and feed speed. A top loading or end loading spout is available depending on the application.

A new control system with an LCD display makes it much easier for the operator to set the machine up, operate it and diagnose faults. Optional material sizing grates minimise the amount of oversize materials in the chips. A chip accelerator to improve loading is also an optional extra.
