Logging Software - New Version Of Maxixplorer Software Suite From Komatsu Forest

MaxiXplorer 3.0 aims to improve productivity, timber value and machine status reports.

Komatsu Forest has developed MaxiXplorer as a complete system for machine and head control, crosscutting, and managing Komatsu Forest harvesters and stand-alone harvesting heads. One of the new features is variable fan control with monitored fan speed on the Komatsu 901TX. This also reduces noise levels in the cab. The new software can also save the production data from more tree species than before. The system can automatically generate reports after a shift, an assignment or a specified time interval.

MaxiXplorer 3 and MaxiN 2.0 have integrated assignment management. This enables production data to be plotted on a map as the harvester progresses. Komatsu indicates that they are the first machine manufacturer to launch a control system that can creates files in compliance with the new Stanford 2010 standard. Source: www.komatsuforest.com
