Agricultural Tractors 2 Felling And Processing Heads For Agricultural Tractors
Usewood produces a range of heads that can be mounted onto tractors, small excavators and harvesters.

The Usewood UW200 series of Finnish manufactured felling and harvester heads are designed for the harsh operating conditions encountered during logging operations. The heads have been constructed so that they can be modified according to specific user requirements. They have been designed for smaller diameter trees (up to 20 cm in diameter), but can be used in fuel-wood felling and for conventional felling. All the heads make use of shears to carry out the felling function, and have the option of volume calculation. The different heads in the range are as follows:

  • RK brushwood head – this head fells and bunches trees.
  • EK energy head – This head fells and bunches trees, but can also delimb the bunches by stroking the head up and down the stem using the boom.
  • HK felling and processing head – After felling, feed rollers feed bunches of trees through the head to delimb the trees.
