January 2020 - Issue 2

Logging and related equipment manufacturers have started the year off with a bang – with many new and updated models. Logging-on’s second issue of January covers some of these new releases. Hot on the heels of the new Tigercat 850 roadside processor (announced in Logging-on’s first edition of January) comes news of Tigercat’s new processing head, the 568. It is designed for productive roadside processing and allows for a complete Tigercat roadside processing solution. John Deere have produced a new rotary grinder for vegetation management and mulching applications. Morbark gives us a glimpse into the new machines that they (and their associated brands) will be releasing onto the market in 2020. Cat have released several significant enhancements to their small wheel loader line. Finally, we examine the new business relationship between Vimek and Nisula Forest.
