The flagship model has a new engine and other modifications and improvements.
A Cat C7 Acert 7l (428 in³) turbocharged and aftercooled engine is now used. It has 6 in-line cylinders, producing 302 hp (225 kW) of power and complies with all Tier 4F emission regulations. The engine compartment is bigger, with two large side doors on each side, which allows easy and quick access to any service points, hoses, engine and hydraulic filters. An easily removable tool box has been installed in the engine compartment which can be used to store tools and teeth.
The new engine results in a low-vibration and low-noise cabin (less than 79 dB). The cabin is spacious, with good visibility and increased headroom. A new digital 7” colour display allows the operator to check and keep the main parameters under observation, as well as to customize functions and settings. It can also be used for diagnostics and trouble shooting.
The forestry mulcher has undergone some major redesign and offers some interesting new features, like the new push-frame design to reach the ground for dragging and raking; the adjustable skids to set required working depth; the bolt-on counter blades for quicker change and reduced maintenance cost.
