Nokian has released the new budget-friendly Nordman Forest F tyre for logging machines

Nokian describes the tyre as a “reliable and cost-effective solution for forestry machines”.

The price of the Nordman Forest F will appeal to many loggers. It has been designed for cost-effective use as a spare tyre that will still be able to work reliably when it needs to be used. An alternative application is for fitment onto overhauled logging machines. The tyre life will not be as long as the other tyres in the Nokian stable, making it more suitable for used machines.

The tread design is based on Nokian’s popular Forest King F. This tread pattern allows band tracks and chains to be fitted. The recommended rims and tubes are also the same as the Forest King F. Even though the tyre comes at a competitive price, it is still manufactured from a rubber compound that gives good cut and puncture resistance, even on rough terrain. It has a strong tread structure for high load-bearing capacity. The first tyre size produced, the 710/45-26.5 PR 20, is already available.
