Tigercat releases their FPT powered D-Series loaders

The new generation 250D and T250D loaders are more powerful than before.

The new D-Series loaders are powered by the Tigercat FPT N67 Tier 4i engine, which produces 160 kW (215 hp) of power, placing it at the top end of its size class. Additional enhancements to the D-Series provide the loaders with excellent multifunctioning capabilities. The hydraulic system, main boom, travel, and grapple functions, are now routed through a central control valve to improve these multifunctional capabilities and obtain more responsiveness. A separate valve is used exclusively for attachments and auxiliary hydraulics. The electronic controls have been replaced with pilot controls, with the new joystick handles being taller with improved ergonomics.

Other new features include a large entry platform for the operator, an air ride suspension seat, and insulation and isolation mounting for reduced vibration and in-cab noise. The layout of the engine and hydraulic components is improved, providing good access for serviceability. The 250B and T50B loaders will still be available to markets outside of Europe and North America, where Tier 4 is not required. Source: www.tigercat.com
