Volvo Construction finalises their acquisition of Terex’s haulier business
The deal includes the production facilities in Motherwell, Scotland, and two product ranges that consist of rigid and articulated hauliers. It also includes the distribution of hauliers in the US as well as a 25.2% holding in Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co, which manufactures and sells rigid haulers under the Terex brand in China. European news - New 311F LRR excavators from Cat
The new excavator is powered by a 52 kW (71 hp) Cat C3.4B engine. The over-the-side tail swing is only 508 mm (20 in), allowing it to be used in space-restricted job sites. It has a large 2450 kg (5400 lb) counterweight for good stability. Source: www.cat.com

Finnish news – Ponsse to invest in a new service centre
The new 2.5 million Euro service centre, based in Rovaniemi, Finland, will be complete by spring 2015. The modern new centre will service Ponsse customers in Northern Finland. The new buildings will have a service area of 1350 m2 (1615 yd2). Source: www.ponsse.com
