Logset Oy and Minusa Tratorpecas Ltda have entered into a dealer agreement to distribute Logset products in the Brazilian forestry market. Minusa is a well-known family company with 45 years of knowledge of the Brazilian market. They have a service depot in each state. Source: www.logset.com
African forestry mourns the loss of Husqvarna stalwart
Hilton Lane, the previous Managing Director of Husqvarna South Africa and Husqvarna Area Manager for Africa, sadly passed away during February due to complications from Malaria. He will be missed by all in African forestry.
PhD position for difficult terrain harvesting advertised at the Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute
The position is for a three year full-time researcher, culminating in a PhD degree. The research focus will be on timber harvesting and supply from steep and difficult terrain.
