South Africa news - Husqvarna supports the fight against breast cancer

Husqvarna has teamed up with South African charity PinkDrive to highlight awareness and raise funds during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Husqvarna will #goPink for the campaign – and also give away a limited edition PINK 450X Automower® worth over R60,000.00. To be eligible to win, customers must spend a specific minimum amount at a South African Husqvarna dealership between 1 – 31 October 2017. Apart from creating a ‘pink’ awareness at dealerships with this competition, Husqvarna is also donating R10 000 to PinkDrive to help support the charity even further. Source

 Bell and Matriarch strengthen ties in agriculture and forestry

Bell Equipment and Matriarch Equipment have announced the signing of a formal distribution agreement, which sees Bell taking on the distribution and support of the complete, locally manufactured Matriarch range of agriculture and forestry equipment. Matriarch is owned and managed by the grandsons of Bell founder, Irvine Bell. Bell will continue to distribute the UltECO models along with the Matriarch Skogger timber extraction and loading machine and the FASTfell felling and bunching machine. Source

Komatsu Forest strengthens service and after-sales support in Ireland

Komatsu Forest joins forces with Komatsu construction machinery distributor, McHale Plant Sales Ltd, to provide and further improve forest machine sales and after-sales support to the Irish market. McHale Plant Sales specialises in the supply, hire and servicing of machinery and became a Komatsu franchise for Ireland in 1994. The after-sales support services will be improved since McHale Plant Sales maintains two full-service units with both workshop and technical support centre. Source
