Tigercat hosts American Loggers Council (ALC) Summer Board Meeting
The ALC toured several of the manufacturing facilities and walked through the assembly lines with Tigercat Vice Presidents and engineers who answered questions about the manufacturing processes and engineering of the machines. Ken MacDonald led the group through MacDonald Steel. Tigercat also hosted a reception and dinner at the Brantford County Club for the group. Eco Log has a new dealer in Denmark
Eco Log Sweden AB has signed a dealer agreement with SAWO A/S. The agreement enables SAWO A/S to resell Eco Log products in Denmark. They are the largest supplier of cargo handling equipment in North Europe, with 200 dedicated employees at 12 branches, and enable SAWO to offer a service covering all Denmark. New Managing Director for Ponsse’s Epec Oy
Teemu Raitis has been appointed as the Managing Director of Epec Oy as of August 2016. Raitis will report to Ponsse Plc's President and CEO Juho Nummela, and he will be located in Seinäjoki. He will transfer to his new post from the position of Managing Director of Ponsse's Brazilian subsidiary, Ponsse Latin America Ltda. Epec Oy is Ponsse Group's subsidiary located in Seinäjoki, Finland. It designs and manufactures control systems for mobile work machines, electronics and software for demanding conditions. Fecon’s Samurai knife tool gets a wider edge
Fecon’s fast cutting Samurai Knife mulching tool now has a wider edge for better performance. It provides over 14% more cutting width on its tapered edges that quickly slice as they cut through wood and brush. A vertical splitting element is also maintained in forged body to help material efficiently flow as it is being cut. The Samurai edge can be sharpened, but it does have self-shaping characteristic.
