Good news in these economic times is that Ponsse has experienced an upturn in equipment sales during the first quarter of 2010.
The equipment order book at the end of this first quarter stood at € 37 million, with the factory increasing its capacity utilisation rate by 40%. Net sales and profitability are better than expected.
The outlook for the remainder of 2010 is that growth will be substantial compared to 2009, with good operating results and cash flow.
