Need some light on your night shift?

Carmanah has developed an off-grid solar LED light that will light up your work area.

The Carmanah EG-300 Series looks similar to a normal street lamp, but has a solar panel that charges batteries for lighting at night. The light can be installed anywhere, making it ideal for remote logging and road construction locations. It can also be used at locations where there is electricity from the grid, but the connection may be difficult or expensive. The light is bright enough to be used for highways, perimeter fencing and many other areas.

The EG300 Series features adaptive lighting, which allows for different light levels during the night, based on vehicle and pedestrian activity. Different operating profiles allow the lights to be dimmed or turned off completely when the area being lit is not being used. By dimming or turning off the light when not needed, energy is conserved and light levels in key night hours can be maximised. This will result in brighter illumination, smaller system size and lower system cost.

The pole-top integrated design allows for easy installation, but also theft prevention. Up to two lights can be mounted per fixture. Source: www.carmanah.com
