An exciting line-up of exhibitors and seminars will attract many people to the Brazilian Forest Fair.
The Brazilian Forest Fair, being held from 11 to 15 April 2011 at Campinas in Sao Paulo, focuses on machinery exhibits, equipment and technology for wood production from plantation forests. In addition to this, ExpoForest 2011 will have three seminars running simultaneously. These are the XVI Seminar on Harvesting and Wood Transportation, the 2nd Brazilian Silvicultural Meeting and the 5th South American Symposium on Wildland Fire Control. The event will take place on property owned by International Paper, and includes a large area of 6.5 year-old Eucalyptus clonal material, where demonstrations will take place.
Brazil is recognised as being world leaders in plantation forestry. They have over 6 million hectares of planted eucalypts and pine, which provide the raw material for many different wood product industries. Brazil’s reputation for testing new technologies and carrying out scientific research in plantation forestry has resulted in them being a prime destination to identify improvement opportunities in one’s own country or organisation. If your business is plantation forestry, this is where you need to be! For information, visit www.expoforest.com.br
