Forest Engineering researchers from around the globe will be presenting their latest research results from 5 to 7 April 2011.
The conference, which has the theme “Innovation in Forest Engineering – Adapting to Structural Change”, is being held in White River, South Africa, and is being organised by Stellenbosch University. An impressive line-up of researchers from around the world will be bringing new information to the delegates. Registration has been extended to the end of February, so there is still time to attend. The conference is not only aimed at scientists, but also loggers, contractors, forestry managers, government officials, students and consultants.
The programme consists of paper presentations on the 5th and 7th, and a full day field visit on the 6th. The keynote speakers are Russell Morkel (Mondi), Jean-Francois Gingras (FP Innovations), Rien Visser (University of Canterbury) and Rolf Björheden (Skogforsk).
