FPInnovations provides an online questionnaire designed as a continuous improvement tool.
DiagFor is an online questionnaire designed to help logging contractors continually improve their operations. The welcoming page explains what DiagFor is used for, how it works and why the exercises are necessary. The contractor completes a short registration, and the begins with the questions. Based on the answers to the questions, DiagFor provides useful tips and guidelines for improvement. The questions are divided into eight sections called responsibilities, which cover the following areas:
There are six levels within each responsibility and by answering “yes” or “no” to the questions within each responsibility, the levels become more and more demanding. Once the user reaches their maximum level within a responsibility, he/she can choose to view another responsibility, or choose to see a summary of the results with suggested improvements.
The actual information provided by the contractor is limited and all results remain confidential, unless the contractor chooses to share them. All professional logging contractors should make use of the tool.
